long story short, my office computer had all my itunes (which was basically all my cds loaded up) - last week super I.T. Geeks came to add some software and wiped my whole computer (including all my ipod stuff).

I asked the elder geek in our IT unit and he said 'oh, you can't do that without some third party software - but you don't want to use that' - implication being 'sit your ass down and reload all of it.'
