"The Wolf Man" (1941)

One of the greatest horror films ever made. Terrific story, acting and FX, and one of the greatest transformation's ever put on screen and I don't mean the man to wolf scene, I'm talking about how Larry Talbot went from happy go lucky guy, chasing pretty girls and not having a care in the world and became such a tortured soul by the end of the film. Fine, fine acting from Lon Chaney Jr.
The upcoming remake has a lot to live up too.

This film does have one of the funniest goofs I've ever seen in a movie. (this might be considered a Spoiler so be warned) Theres a scene where Larry Talbot first transforms into the Wolf Man, he runs into his bedroom, he takes off his shirt and he stands there in a undershirt and light colored pants, he sits down takes off his shoes and socks and you watch how his feet change and then he gets up and walks out into the night. When you next see him he is now completely changed into The Wolf Man, but all of a sudden he his now wearing darker pants and a dark long sleeve shirt. I guess even the Wolf Man has a fashion sense.
