i have this thing down to a fine art - refining it a little more each year.


i take the day off and go early friday by myself .. i get some shopping in and do the longer autograph lines that i dont think my son will be interested in.
(or that are consistantly too long for him to want to bother with)

last year i went to the rue morgue private party but as my buddy doesnt write for them anymore i dont think i'll be going this year.

then we come back as a family saturday morning . I prioritize the Q and A's i want to see and write up a schedule (for saturday and sunday)

We get a room in the adjoining hotel so that when my son and wife have had enough they can go swim in the pool or relax in the room.

Saturday night Rue Morgue thows a public party at a bar downtown. costume party ..etc. I've never gone but it's supposed to be a good time.

i try to film as many of the Q and A's as possible .. depends on where i am able to sit. i take a ton of pics.

i collect signed DVDs and Laserdiscs so between the lineups, the Q and A's - buy Sunday near the end oif the day - i'm completely bagged ... but it's a great time.

i'm looking forward to a mini-meet-up this year as well if it happens.
it would be a nice addition to the schedule. maybe we can get a few together to hit that party on saturday night this year :)
