I've read almost all of King's novels and most of his short stories. I love his writng style. He may be too long-winded for some readers who prefer a quick read with not so much detail to characters and places.
A Unaboner3000 Top 5 would include:
The Dark Tower series (best books EVER)
The Stand (very long, and very detailed in character developement, which I love.)
Rose Madder (exciting story, and a strong FEMALE main character)
Dreamcatcher (Alot better than that crappy movie)
Desperation (most "action-packed" of King's stories, I think)
