irritate me.
But to NE's point, I think that most items that fall into the "overrated" category HAVE to be popular and big-budget... It's that kind of stuff that receives the most attention.
How about this...
Overrated Cult Classics:- Texas Chainsaw Massacre (already mentioned)
- Hellraiser (already mentioned)
- Evil Dead (ED II is far superior)
- Lost Highway
- Tetsuo (would have been a better short film)
- Highlander
- The Adventures of Buckaroo Bonzai

- Wicker Man
- House by the Cemetery
- Tenebre
- Don't Torture a Duckling
- Videodrome (though I should probably give this one a second chance)
To keep on topic, I'm not sure if there's such thing as
underrated Cult Classics because, well, if they're a "Cult Classic," then they can't really be underrated I suppose...
