I lost all interest in hellboy 20 minutes into the first film.
I think they're too different to be compared to each other in any way other than what you'd rather watch again. For me it goes:
Dark Knight
Iron Man
Incredible Hulk
Each had faults and merits of their own. And though it was an excellent film, I have to agree with MD.
