seriously, this election is a joke, I've seen MULTIPLE newscasts on their fucking wardrobe. We're getting closer and closer to big government, pretty soon they'll be telling us what movies we can't watch or games we can't play (sorry Australia) and they'll all be protecting us from ourselves. Obama will most likely get elected and then given praise for everything good that happens even IF it's the result of plans already in place. I don't really like McCain but I REALLY don't like his socialist, rhetoric spewing opponent. I used to be so into politics... I hate them now, probably because voting has less to do with politics then ever before.

While I understand you Despare, for the most part the main reason why nowadays [past 40 yrs or so] that we don't spend time on the issues is because we [the american voters] are far too ignorant and know very little about their government; so when it comes down to voting we decide that "Kennedy's poise and wardrobe is so much better than that over guy so I'll vote for him." This whole thing started in the 60s, I believe. Everyone was into the physical appearance and the small stuff...just like in '97 with Clinton and Lewinsky--we made such a big deal about the affair and impeached him instead of impeaching Bush for his heinous war crimes and deals with foreign oil companies--all of which we are paying the reprocussions for; wheras though Clinton did his thing with her-are economy wasn't in debt--was still booming and regulating--now we're in trillions of dollars of debt. Funny how things have been working as of late isn't it?
