Dead Ringers was Cronenberg, not Lynch.
You probably shouldn't write Dario Argento off as "ok" just after seeing one film. watch Deep Red and then judge him. a lot of people are huge fans of Suspiria too, not so much myself.
as for good Cronenberg films, Videodrome, Naked Lunch, The Fly, History Of Violence, and Eastern Promises are all exceptional, I've heard the Brood is too, but i havnt seen it.
Put Lost highway back on your queue btw. creepy as hell movie, heavy on the atmosphere. Lynch's darkest film next to Eraserhead IMO.
I'd tell you to watch Blue Velvet pronto, but since you dont like Hopper (and i cant understand why) you probably wouldn't like the film either, because he pulls the whole thing together.

I looked up Cronenberg's filmography and noticed
Dead Ringers. Oops. I liked that movie.
Yeah, I have two of Argento's movies in my queue.
I loved
History of Violence and I have
Eastern Promises already in my queue. I love Viggo Mortensen. *sexy man*
I'll give
Lost Highway a chance.
I saw Dennis Hopper in
Boiling Point with Wesley Snipes and other movies. I try to avoid his movies because he's not a good actor IMHO, and there's something about him that rubs me the wrong way. I can't explain it. I don't care for Jack Nicholson but I liked him in
The Shining. He's a good actor but it's the same thing as with Hopper. I just don't like those two.
Thanks for the suggestions. :)
