Taps (1981)
Holy Crap!:eek: I had forgotten how completely fucked-up this film was. This kind of film could never get made in today's climate. For those of you too young to remember this gem, it's about a military academy being forced to close its doors due to budgetary reasons, but the students won't let that happen. The students (heads filled with delusions of military might) decide to take command of the school by force and all hell breaks loose. Young Tim Hutton, Sean Penn and Tom Cruise all deliver great performances. Ronny Cox and George C Scott round out the cast.
Fucking crazy.
