My only issue with that kind of thing here (Australia) is when asian stores don't have any english translations on their signs and products.

I think that you're being a bit carried away in regards to the mere presence of signage that's not exclusively in your first language.
I don't particularly mind having signage in their own, or any races own language - I mean, perhaps it is actually a useful tool when both languages are present, to have one and then the other - so that they can gradually pick up the language, which is what I gather from your post that you would want...A lot of people learn languages better through these means.
It's kind of like those foreign to us being pissed that they have to add English sub-titles to the movies we often watch, or an english description to recipes and foodstuffs.
Not to snap, but I think you're not really considering the entire issue on that one.

If it was voluntary that's fine. If it was mandatory or pressured, that's bullshit unless they also offer/enforce english classes on the other parties.
I don't know the whole issue here though.
What's pissing me off right now is HOT HOT HOT weather...I get that right now this isn't the best time to bring this up on a forum predominately full of USA folks, but shit...this country just gets so damn fucked up HOT.
Bushfires happen nearly every time...today we got 42c (107.6f) not a damn cloud, and it was like that for 2 days.
Thankfully there was a storm and it rained for two groups of around 20 minutes each this afternoon/evening, rather cooled things down.
I'm sure there's more bullshit cancer weather on the way though.
