I can't think of the right man for the job. All the stars that come to mind are eaither too young (Chris Pine), too old (Dennis Quaid, Bill Paxton), too soft (Benden Fraser) or box office poison (Thomas Jane).
I'm going to have to give this some serious thought.

I'd add Billy Crudup to a list of "Wouldn't minds". But he's Doc Manhattan. Dennis Quaid could definitely play Alan Scott.
