You need to do some serious insight into yourself about this new development. Assess your heart with a more calm, normal manner and see what you feel inside, for him.
Sometimes, listening to the heart and going ahead with something, can bring about many unwanted drastic results. There are moments in life when the brain needs to take a dominant role over the heart.
