Hey Cheebacheeba,

As far as deep ocean creatures coming to the surface goes, without the great pressures of the deep pushing in around them they litteraly explode. Deep Ocean animals usually have to be brought to the surface in a jar, or other sealed container that can maintain the higher pressures. I've seen early footage of such creatures being brought aboard boats, they practically fall apart.
