Freak's eyes widened in sheer surprise. The bullets ripped into his belly and chest and he coughed three times, doubling up. He grabbed at his final 5 HPs and looked up at the same instant, his eyes full of wondrous amazement and sheer dread.
Milktoaste stood over him beside the rock, propping up the injured Scouse on his left shoulder. Freak stared at the two of them, and sudden realisation flooded his senses.
Scouse noticed the change in looks of Freak's eyes, and smiled. "
Yes Freak, I know what you are thinking. Unfortunately, those will be your last thoughts in this world," Scouse said, his voice changing from calm sarcasm to bitter, icy-steel tinge.
Milktoaste had reloaded his revolver, and was pointing it straight at Freak's face. Freak took one long, final look at both of them and closed his eyes.
BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!! BLAM!!
The bullets tore Freak's face apart, blasting through his brains, eyes and chin. He slowly slumped backwards, legs shaking before coming to a slow stillness.
FREAK IS DEAD!!!!!
Milktoaste dropped the revolver, and smiled at Scouse. "
Let's go, amigo!" he murmured and both of them turned around.
SECTOR C:
The Alien roamed around in a circle before slowing down in front of the river. A trio of red dots zoomed in on its head from somewhere above in the trees. The Alien snarled once, and jumped to the front.
THRACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!
The plasma beam ripped through the trees and hit the ground where the Alien stood just a second earlier. The Alien turned around and snarled again, before disappearing into the bushes on its right.
The Predator scanned the area, and jumped down. It reached the bushes in a jiffy, but the Alien was nowhere to be seen. The Predator looked around slowly, scanning the entire forest area with its infra-red sensors.
The Alien slowly emerged from behind a tree on the Predator's left. The Predator whirled, but the Alien had jumped at him by then. The Predator lost its balance and fell backwards, and the Alien was instantly towering over it.
The Predator growled menacingly, just as the Alien's mouth opened wide. Its inner jaws came flying out as the Predator slid to one side. The Alien's jaws ripped into the Plasma Gun of the Predator on his left shoulder, and it howled once. Quickly, the Predator's target tracker trio of red dots had zoomed on the Alien's head. The Plasma Gun aimed straight at its mouth.
THHHHHRRRRRRRGGGGGGGNNNNNNNN!!!
The Predator's Plasma Gun rolled back. The Alien's jaws had retracted in an instant, and it had come swishing down again straight at the Predator's forehead. It ripped through the Predator's forehead and nailed its green brains out, its jaws retracting with green slime all over it. The Predator's head fell back heavily, its eyes closed behind its mask. The Alien snarled once, before lifting its head and letting out a loud snarl of emphatic victory.
Just then, the Alien's body buzzed with a huge vibration and it stood still. It looked around and looked back at the Predator's limp body, then jumped into the trees and disappeared towards an unknown destination.
And in the end, there were only two left...
...plus one.
