At first glance it seemed to be a bit like "Amityville Horror." A New York publishing executive moves his family to a small town in New England only to learn that the home was the scene of a horrendous murder.
But then I found this:
"The husband and father who killed them is alive and may be targeting the new arrivals."
So that kinda moves the story out of "Amityville"-territory.
Anyhow, it has peaked my interest.
