May be I have seen very few of his movies but I think Lewton was one of the few greatest visionary men of Horror who successfully lightened the genre into whole another level of excellence.
And Robert Wise was one of the extraordinary genius directors in celluloid history who left remarkable examples of inspiring work in almost every genre of films. After watching "The Haunting" for the very first time early this year, I'm still now bit confused to decide my No. 1 all time favorite horror films...Psycho or The Haunting(!?!?).
