When that little girl does not let the other kids back into the lift, does she think they are just lying and playing around again, or does she really know what is going on? She really knows what's going on. It's classic vengeance/revenge. If she did in fact know they were being real, then why did she act all freaked out when they did play the prank in the first place? I don't understand the question. She thought the prank was real too.
What happened to the father who killed that large kid? He was the hooded figure who killed the girl during the parade and who also stalked Anna Paquin. Anna Paquin finished him off. I am pretty sure I missed something, but why bother to even have him in the film if it did not even add anything to the story in the end?
Adding to that, I can see that the old man was the bus driver, so I can see how the 'troubled' children and the old man linked, but how did everything else link together? Such as the werewolfs, what did that add to the movie? The werewolves killed off the father who killed off the fat kid. And the story comes full circle.
Maybe I am just too tired, and should watch it during the day so I can get a better understanding.
Can anybody fill in the cracks for me?
Cheers!
