Ennis is a smart guy that sometimes gets bogged down in the business of being offensive and provocative. I thought that Preacher was incredible. One of my favorite comics. Ever. I've gone through Volume 2 of
The Boys now and I'm still feeling very
meh about it - But there are two very intelligent people whom I know who like the series (you and another friend of mine), so I will continue to give it a try...
Transmetropolitan Vol. 3: Year of the Bastard. LOVE this comic. LOVE this series. Makes me want to cheer with every page turn. This volume was especially brilliant. Really can't put it down. REALLY wish I had requested the next couple of volumes from the library to go along with it... I want more Spider...
