You know, I used to be one of those people that got pissed off about remakes, one of those "OH NO - they're going to ruin the original!" kind of people. But I eventually matured to a degree, came to my senses and chilled out about the waves upon waves of remakes - "Whatever man, I just wont watch it if it looks bad...and who knows? Maybe it'll get people interested in the original."
That said, ideas like this make me want to jump off a bridge.
