I just saw Alien Planet, now while this is not a horror movie, it do have giant aliens so I will take the liberty to post anyway. The movie is basically a mock nature documentary from another planet, with aliens made by various biologists and the like. Two robotic probes are investigating this environment. thought the movie was great, it was made for Discovery Channel and is basically a wonderful speculation on how alien life might look. My favorites are the sea walkers, seven stories tall creatures who walk on a living sea that will eat you given half the chance, as in the sea will eat you, not the walkers, they are harmless...unless they step on you that is.
