Hello, I'm new here and thanks for having me.

I'm looking for a Horror movie. Shown around the 60's
Based in a Haunted house, a small group of people say a family, are threatened by something.
Unfortunately I can only remember this one scene being much younger at the time.
In one unforgettable scene this family rushes to lock the lounge door to protect them from the thing they can hear approaching. The sound of the thing’s footsteps stop silent in the hallway when suddenly the door panels start to flex inward at which point the camera points to the senior member standing, who in his horror drops a bottle which he’s holding.
