I thought that the movie definitely started strong, and I really liked the dark absurdest humor... But it lost me about half way through and by the time we reached the fantastically epic finale, I just wasn't into it.

Haha, no worries. Honestly, I'm with you on the finale. Even for being an over-the-top, sweeping, absurd epic, the ending was too much. Especially CGI-wise. Really deflated the finale for me. I mean, I still really liked the movie, but that would be my big complaint. Sorry you didn't like it. You may still enjoy his other films, though. While they are certainly crazy, I think they might be easier to get into.
Dance with the Devil is a sleazy exploitation love-letter. Is it streaming? I thought it was only on DVD.
