Well, the slenderman is certainly a hot topic these days, and I can tell you from personal knowledge, there are a LOT of people working on projects with this character, comics, fiction, movies, so your instincts are right.

As for your film, I found it pretty average. The people are not very interesting, they don't do anything interesting, they don't say anything interesting, and the glimpses of the slenderman are not very convincing. He's not tall or thin. It just looks like a guy wearing a white mask. The audio inserts are not done very well- they don't sound like they're part of the footage as well, but sound like bad effects added later. And the sound of the motor in the one vehicle is really annoying and loud.

Sorry to sound so negative, but I'm sure you'd find honest feedback more useful than just saying "cool film, man."
