Watched some more "Once Upon a Time".
I may have mentioned I've been going through season 2 which we collected and held off on 'til it had finished airing.
I find myself really rooting for Rumplestiltskin to...I don't know, turn out "ok"?
I find his character has the richest history/backstories and he's probably endured more of an ongoing tragedy than most. Not to mention Carlyle is just so excellent in the role.
I'd say this season is a step up from the first.
It still kind've makes me roll my eyes on occasion with the sickly sweetness of parts of it, but it's a good twist to the things I knew and most of what's new to me turns out to be very well concieved.
Much more rounded characters given than I'd expect.
Thus far, they've broadened the idea of the show significantly...Latest episode I watched was the one you where you found out the guy that crashed his car (played by Ethan Embry who by GOD has aged like a motherfucker) actually has a history in Storybrooke too.
Good series. Some cool additions to the cast.
Been checking out the Masterchef show with Ramsay in it a bit more too.
Run of the mill.
Some nice food and interesting ideas here and there, but REALLY a lot of wanky people. Save the drama, get to the cooking.
