Absolutely! It's making fun of the haunted house type found footage that you see in PA in general but doesn't specifically reference any PA plot points or anything.
Plus the humor is so over-the-top and silly that it doesn't matter if you've seen those movies. It's like watching frat boys goof off. In a good way.
