Except for the beautiful cinematography I really disliked this one. I've never understood why you would make a musical just for the sake of having actors singing their lines instead of saying them, but without any real intentions of making catchy songs? Even before I was halfway through Into the Woods I didn't give a rats ass what was going on and I couldn't wait till it was over so my increasing headache would disappear again.
I would choose the new remake of Annie over Into the Woods any day of the week. At least THAT shit has catchy songs. :danger:

You do realize that both Into The Woods and Sweeney Todd were Broadway musicals first right.
