There's a petition for that version to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray. It has 10,000 signatures and the goal is 20,000. The studios are considering it but there is no release date or any recent news. BloodyDisgusting even posted an article to help spread the petition (even though it was on the salty side): http://www.petitionbuzz.com/petitions/carriepetition
Hope it gets released!
