Im not normally one to depend on reviews from "critics". I was more talking about horror fans like us. Then there is the reviews on IMDB, which as I said I don't normally take into consideration but it almost seems like its either 1 star or 5 stars. The people who love it really rave about it.

Sorry, I didn't understand if you meant critics or fans

I thought The Strangers was a great movie, and I was really scared by it, but it wasn't perfect. The skeptical boyfriend character in every movie is always aggravating, and the intruders seemed to warp around the house at will. I really liked it because it was effective, even if it's a little unrealistic.
