I thought The Strangers was a great movie, and I was really scared by it, but it wasn't perfect. The skeptical boyfriend character in every movie is always aggravating, and the intruders seemed to warp around the house at will. That's the beauty of our genre, you get to love things I hate and visa versa. To each their own and whatnot. Lol. Regardless we could probably both agree, when they make a second, it has to be completely different or it will fall flat on its face. It would be way to easy to just repeat the original with a new cast and a new location.
