Hi all!

I'm a fairly recent horror fan; it's only been the past few years that I moved from being creeped out and moralizing everything to just enjoying a good, scary movie/book/tv show.

And the basics: I'm a grad student, I'm owned by a cat, I write some fiction, I knit and make other things for fun -- usually while watching a horror movie -- and tend to go for horror that deals with apocalypses (apocalypsi?) and how people react to shit. More plot and character for me, though I do love a good terrible really-low-budget movie on occasion (they're funny, if nothing else).
