Government Shutdown

I see we're once again playing "Who's got the bigger set of gonads?" Past results would prompt me to put my money on the Republicans. I think there will be a "compromise" (ie: The Democrats will completely cave) at the last minute and the shutdown will not occur. Thoughts?

I wish politicians could discuss the issues without it descending into kindergarten tactics. But, that'll never happen. I say that because I had the Today show on while I was getting ready for work, and there was a Democrat talking about the government shutdown. Most of what he said was blasting the Tea Party. Last week they had a Republican on, and most of his time was spent bashing the Democrats.

At any rate, if the shutdown does happen, the president will probably get the blame.

In the words of Radiohead-"Bring down the government, they don't speak for us". Don't want anarchy myself though I would prefer that different people run our country instead of politicians. Maybe charity workers?

Yeah you're probably right I guess lust for power corrupts people its sad really. But if we have total anarchy then the gangsters will have control. I don't know what the answer is really.
