Little things make me smile...
I've been having a hard time the past 2 days. My Great- Grandpa (the man who raised me) has to have emergency open heart surgery at 7:30 tomorrow morning...naturally I've rearranged my life just to be there where he is and wait. So, I'm leaving at 4am to go to Columbia Missouri, I should be sleeping, but I can't.
Just a few minutes ago, as soon as I get to where I feel "ok" about it, and calm down a bit, this song comes on the radio...and I just LOST it again, started bawling, but it also made me smile. The song that came on the radio was "Carrying your love with me" by George Strait...anyways, what's so weird about that is this is the only song that has come out in the past 50 years that my grampa likes (see, my family is from Tennessee, and it talks about Tennessee), and it made me think of all kindsa good things. I really hope that your grandfather's surgery goes well. I know the position you're in. The thing is, I don't know how to tell you to feel. You know, that's something that's individual. I can tell you that you and your grandfather are going to definitely be in my thoughts. I really really wish him all the health and love in the cosmos, and I really really wish you all the strength and love in the cosmos.
I hope every thing works out for the best.

Sorry Marroe. I won't get into a huge comforting thought, because I know your pain would only just subside. Just think of how he would want you to feel in this moment and try to understand that he will ALWAYS be with in some form.
Use one of your pics as a symbol of a "Ray of Hope."
