CMX Pictures: now doing business in 2 states
Ok, Friday night I got a call, first thing they (I found out it was a she) said was "Is this CMX Pictures?" CMX Pictures, for those who don't know, is the movie company I co-own. I said yes, and she started asking about what type movies we do and prices (the "prices" part is the important part :D ). So, she said she'd e-mail me Monday with what the job would entail, so me and my partner could determine what to charge. Well, I took a second look at the phone number a bit ago, and I saw the area code: 704. According to the area code directory I looked up, that's North Carolina. Potentially a problem, but so long as her involvement would be relegated to a phone/e-mail/IM correspondance during pre-production, it could work
