...weird...
Between 6:30pm and 6:40pm tonight (Sydney time, which is now about 13 minutes before whatever time comes up on my post) I was out, walking, and I saw this thing fall outta the sky.
No shit, I dunno if you guys ever saw a shooting star before but this was kinda like that, 'cept it burned brighter and at least twice to three times as long as you usually see a shooting star burn for, I even had time to tell the two people with me to turn around, and they saw the arse end of it...the thing was visible for at least 4 solid seconds... It was pretty far away by the look of it, but clearly visible, I've never seen anything like it, it's like finding a basketball sized hailstone...

Damn North Koreans are probably testing again. And I'm not just being a smart-ass this time, that could have been what it was. Just the first thing that popped in my head. Ya never know these days. I pondered that, but then thought about it for a bit, I was facing south...I probably woulda seen that up north. It's a valid theory though.

Yah, if you were facing south, that's probably not it. But who knows if anyone...um like the USA...or any other powerful country, has stations on Antartica or something. Again, ya just never know these days, no ones government is above hiding secrets from it's citizens or the rest of the world.

Maybe one of the external rockets or fuel tank from the space shuttle or just a small meteorite ? It could be anything. They say outer space is full of junk from old space missions.

I used to watch the shuttle launch from where I lived, and the boosters separating looked a lot like that, but it was probably either space junk or a Blob. Little bastards. You think you're getting ahead in the fake snow business, and then one of them lands and suddenly you're sacrificing coolant tanks left and right to freeze the little boogers......
