Dog Attack

Walking my three dogs along the beach this morning we happened across a girl walking her two Staff bull terriers.

Dogs being dogs they had a sniff and a growl until one of hers violently attacked mine. She stood by half-heartedly calling her dog back which achieved precisely fuck all.

Dumb arse here waded in (reluctantly but it was going on for too long) and the little bastard turned on me and bit me a couple of times on the leg. Ive been left with a couple of puncture wounds and bruising. When it calmed down, the stupid girl did apologise but refused to see her dog has a problem.

Whats worse is that Im in work in a couple of hours and my leg is aching like hell. Im pissed off to say the least

Holy crap! That's pretty fucked. Call the police, she is libel for your injuries. I can't believe she just stood by while her dog attacked you. Aren't they suppose to be on a leash or something? You might want to get checked out.

If she has a registered pet, you can sue her. If not, she ll be in more trouble for this.

btw, get your wounds treated. Any/all kinds of infections are possible for dog bites.

This sucks...get well soon, my friend.

Jesus CHRIST! What a C***!

There has to be some way to go after her.

And I agree with the aforementioned - Fuck work, go see a doctor. God only knows what kind of crab demons she gave her dogs...

Not too sure about that. I know where they've been!;)

I had a tetanus injection about four years ago when I got savaged by one of my cats, so Im not worried about infections.

As for the rest, she high-tailed it out of there and Limpy McGee couldn't keep up, but I will be keeping an eye out. Its not the dogs fault so wouldn't want it to be punished but the obvious worry is the same happens and the recipient is a kid.

GO SEE A DOCTOR! a good friend of mine got a little nip while breaking up a dog fight (not even deep and just on her finger as the dogs didn't turn on her but just that her hand got in between them). anyway, she got a fairly serious infection that later required surgery to clean out and correct She could have lost her whole hand. so don't be silly - go to NHS and get thie sorted

The old addage that 'dogs mouths are cleaner than ours' is total b.s. I've been dog bit quite a few times myself, but never while some idiot stood by a watched it happen. Puncture wounds can be difficult to disinfect, so not going to the doc is like rolling the dice.
I own an American Stafordshire, it really pisses me off to hear about bully breed owners acting so irresponsibley. With all the breed specific litigation going around, I hope this girl can be located and punished accordingly.
