Venom were killer for sure (don't think much of the later stuff I've heard). You heard the first Bathory album? You'd probably dig it.

I too love Venom, I have all their albums the kick ass box-set and live albums. The solo Cronos albums kick major ass too, you can get them all together on the anthology set, great bargin. I am a huge fan. Bathory also mentioned here are an amazing band in the roots of Black Metal.
Burzum's new albums owns too. Love Black Metal \m/\m/

Yeh the new Burzum album is pretty cool. Don't agree with Varg's political leanings at all but he wrote some epic tunes like Lost Wisdom.
