Hey guys and dolls,
I've been searching for a movie after having been told about it by my father a few years ago. He couldn't remember a great deal about it, but I'm hoping the details he does have will be enough. The movie's main cast consisted of three middle-aged spinster sisters living together in what he said is a swampy area. It was a black and white film, and he believes it was pre-1960. The deaths of the three sisters was along the lines of their main role in the household. One sister, who was responsible for chopping wood, received a splitting headache of sorts with an axe. Another, who was the knitter of the trio, had a pair of knitting needles criss-crossed up through her throat. The third was the house cook and was somehow killed with a carving knife. The specifics of that death aren't entirely recalled. I do hope those details will help to end this search. If at all possible, once the film is identified, I would be more than thankful if any of you could point me in the direction of where I can obtain a copy. I'm located in Australia, but am happy to shop wherever I need to. Cheers! (if, however, it ends up being post-1969, I apologise for using the wrong section of your forum) |
