We thought that horror, the owner of the site, never left us with any rules to manage/govern the forums effectively.

Couple days back, I came across the "Rules for the HDC forums". It was embedded in such a place which would have made it tough for any one to see it. I myself hadn't seen it till 2 days ago.





Anyway, here they are :-

If you have already seen it, good. If not, this stickied thread will serve as a reference for all past, present and future members and Moderators, alike.

Where the heck is user horror anyway? He used to hang out with us forumers a lot about 10 years ago, would cut good posters a chit of the ad profits. Since he has abruptly left.

There's a need for amendments around here to stop supervisors throwing out people that are having a hard time. Training too, to root out those that let a bit of authority go to their heads - compassion goes a long way and solves problems, and I'm very willing to work alongside those that do the right thing.

I'm sorry, but a sob story/problems doesn't allow a free pass on instigating issues among other members, making threats of violence, forever dredging up the past because you're sore about it, and being generally here to primarily annoy rather than
actually contribute in a way that would keep you off the radar of those you're trying to pass the blame to.

End whatever issues you have, and let the message sink in the third time.

Don't think I don't remember that this all started when you talked negative shit in a thread I made to share info and pictures of my child with the members I'd known for a long time and even welcomed/encouraged newer members to join in...you wanted to try and turn that into a shit-show, then came back to "you may not remember me, but I remember you" me.
Don't push buttons. Any.
You fuck about again, and I will ban you permanently - and yeah I will be watching you, because at this stage you shit me more often than not, and I've yet to see you make any kind of effort to do anything but bitch and moan and cause problems for others.

Don't act like you're hard done by here...I'm as easygoing as it gets...I don't hand out infractions or ban people lightly, in fact you've got more than everyone else combined...Don't come in here acting like people are too stupid to realise this.

This just happens. If you act like a fuckwit anywhere in life, you have less rope and there will be people that are less tolerant of you, especially when they see things like this attempted instigation here, or you following the same footsteps and actions as you have before.

Just contribute. Talk to others. Don't poke prod or push buttons. Don't irritate people. Act like you're not a 13 year old getting a kick out of the reaction when you act in a way you know you shouldn't.

I can't fire it unless you load it first.
Remember this.
You piss me off but I'm still here trying to talk you out of the kind of actions that will have you kicked out.
I'm through taking time with this. It's a public forum.
Conduct yourself in a way that doesn't embarrass us as a whole. Like I've said before...it's actually a good site with awesome people...you can't see it because you don't really interact with them as much as you could/should.

Your next step will be a permanent IP ban.
I don't need a life story or to hear you have problems...because my sympathy doesn't extend to me doing you favours and let you stay while the other members get pissed off by your buffoonery. Keep the peace.

Hey man listen, coming from one of the people that you got in an argument with before, I forgive you man. Believe me, I've lashed out it plenty of people on message boards before and it was never really anything personal unless someone actually made it personal. The truth is we all have problems and some of us have more than others but we have to try to find ways to cope with them or move past them rather than trying to make them other people's issues. Most of us here are adults with our own lives and don't really have the time or energy to sit and try to fix your problems for you. We are here as your friends and as support. I don't know if you've noticed or not but psycho and I talked quite a bit on here about our personal lives because it's helpful you talk about things but that shouldn't suggest belittling people or coming at them with such aggression. You weren't permanently banned because the admins recognize you're going through a hard time. Like I said, we are all your friends and if you need someone to talk to then by all means talk to us but please do it in a friendlier and much less aggressive manner. Cheers mate, I've been trying various relaxation techniques during the break and have branched out to soothing beverages. However, I've not been able to ty that Earl Grey tea as someone told me that people who drink that stuff are raging homosexuals.

ML12, I have enjoyed your humour at times in the past. In the future I would refrain from bringing up subjects such as racism, sexual orientation, religion, etc. You know me but for all you know, i could be a Muslim, black lesbian. Would you really want to say something that could hurt me?
