Maybe a film related to gangsters/mafia, as a mafia boss or something. Could be a comedy film (father of the heroine or similar), or a crime drama.
I have a hazy mental picture of this guy in this same outfit (same sort of glasses, shirt/pants, same chain dangling around neck) followed by 3-4 other men, probably bodyguards or fellow henchmen. He might have/might not have been smoking a cigarette. Tall, thin fellow. Can't recall his name, or the film(s) he was in.

Nope and nope.
I have definitely seen this guy in a film. I think it was an action film. BTW, welcome back, redhead!

Paul Oaster appeared in Under the Knife, where he killed a plastic surgeon named Alan Cardwell. He loved a woman named Samantha Warner and wanted to protect her. When he found out that Alan had an affair with Samantha, he couldn't bear it. As a result, Paul stabbed Alan with a candlestick and left the victim to die in an alley. Paul is a 45 year old man with grey hair and brown eyes. He normally wears a dark blue shirt and a golden chain. He wears glasses, drinks coffee, plays golf and is right-handed.

I think I know exactly who this is. I can see and hear him in my mind. He's done mob boss types in TV and film. Let me see if I can find him or think of the TV/film. He always has tinted (orange) glasses, deep cigarette voice, and fairly think Jersey/NY accent.

He's a bit like Alex Rocco (and that might be him), but I think it's someone else. I might have seen him as a boss on Burn Notice or White Collar. I looked around the net for awhile, but I wasn't able to pull him. Sorry. It may come to me later.
By the way, if you right-click on the OP pic, it reads "Paul_Oaster". I guess this is a fictional picture for a wiki solve the crime game? And the pic reminds you of an real actor?
