For the past three weeks, Ive been playing poker. In those weeks I have managed to win close to $200 and have only lost $2. HA! I really love being a young girl, old men really underestimate you. They think you're betting big because you're confused or dumb. HA HA!! Any how, Im really glad I learned to play and I have such luck although murphy is bound to show up at the table one of these nights. Its a fun game, I would suggest learning if you like cards.

I love texas hold'em as well. I have played for about 10 years and in that time I have won about £80,000 pounds (about 156,000 dollars) in amateur and pro contests in England. I have never gone full time pro and work a full time job as I enjoy poker as a hobby. Luckily my job has me working four days on and four off with 25 days holiday a year, so using four days holiday I get twelve off, so my poke fits in well with working. Who knows though, one day I may just chuck my job in and go for it, but at the moment things suit me well.

I totally agree with Barbra, if anyone is thinking of taking up poker I say go for it, it is the only sport in the world where a complete beginner can win the world title :)

I so hate hold em, its pretty much a two card game and I've seen some fucked up hands go down, granted I profited from it (my first royal flush!!) but still, I'd rather play stud

Let it Ride is the best poker game, ever! I love poker, but I don't currently bet for real. Maybe in a few years a will, but only time will tell.
