Whats your favorite type of Horror Movie?

Well, theres plenty of different subgenres to the terror that unites us all. But which do you prefer?

Heres some examples, incase that didnt explain well enough

Haunted House
Slasher
Alien
Zombie
Vampire

Ya get the picture;)

I, without a doubt, love the haunted stuff. Especially when it isnt necesarily "Ghosts", but the house/building itself is evil, driving those in the building to do things.

Examples:

The Shining
House on Haunted Hill [Both Versions, but the original had the eviler house]
Pit and the Pendulum [Not a typical Haunted House movie, but ya know what I mean]

my favorate horror movie Halloween is from the slasher genre but i prefer psychological horror now in my opinion that's stuff like Silence of the Lambs and The Shining i'm saying what my opinion of it is because i'm not exactly sure if there's such a thing as ''the psychological'' genre.

My favorite would have to be the demonic subgenre of horror. Case in point...The Exorcist. Millions upon millions of people believe that demonic forces exist. Just the possibility of it being real adds to the flavor of the movie.

at this point they're all the same within the different subgenres (all the slashers are the same, all the psychological horror is the same, etc), so I'll watch whatever movie is good.

I used to have a soft spot for zombie movies and revenge exploitation, though.
