I was just wondering what everybodys setup is here to watch their horror movies. I have a Aiwa 5.1 Dolby Surround sound, a 42 in GE HD widescreen, and my dvd player is my xbox 360.

I'm not sure of the brands I have because I don't ever take the time to look. But I have a surround sound system, a 36 inch tv screen with a dvd player and a vcr. My PS2 nor my Xbox would play DVD+R's for some weird reason, so I had to get a seperate dvd player.

my TV is nothing special, Samsung non-widescreen 20"
I've got a Sony Dolby Digital/DTS 5.1 Surround system, Sony 5-Disc DVD changer, a Panasonic DVD+/-R DVD recorder with HDD, and a PS2. And an old RCA DVD player hooked up to my computer. So, theoretically, I could watch up to 7 DVDs without ever having to get up (8 if I hooked up the old DVD player through the recorder)

Depends...

For my VHS, I have a 19" TV/VCR combo in my room. Perect to watch from bed.

For DVD, I have a couple different places. Either right here where Im sitting, 17" LCD Flatscreen monitor [DVDrom drive]. Or, I could go to the family room [arguably the most comfortable] where we have a 32" Flatscreen and a fairly old DVD player.

However my absolute favourite, so long as Im alone, has got to be the Basement. The room is L shaped, and the short part is black. Ceiling, walls, total black. Thats where we have the TV...nothing special, a REALLY old 27'' with a dying colour tube. Play the DVD on my PS@. I love it down there because it's 100% pitch black, silent, and to get back upstairs I need to go through the creepy, unfinished part of the basement that has always scared me. Wow, that was a huge run-on sentance.

my ideal set-up would be one of those small screening room type things with a genuine silver screen. Yeah, good sound system and projector and all that, but I'd about bust a nut if I could get a f'real silver screen.
