That is really really sad. I was wishing upon a star that one day they would all get together again and do a big blow out tour, because I wasn't born while they were at their height (or I was way too young).
Left us with one hell of a legacy, though, and his work will live on...

I do believe he meant virtually. Syd Barrett lost his mind a long time ago. But he was a brilliant man before the madness took him.
He did write "Astronomy Domine" after all....:(

Well, this is shitty news.
Ah, well...Least the man had a hell of a ride before he cashed out. Not many people can say that, right? Think I'll go blast some Floyd in memory, and if my neighbors dare to complain, I'll tell them to fuck off, I'm hosting a tribute.
