Nightwatch dvd?

I hired the dvd, and was pretty dissapointed that all the cool dissapating "blood" subtitles were gone.
The version I got had it set to english audio, so I chaged that to the original setting, and I had it set on standard subtitling...but yeah, those cool subs I'd seen in the cinema just weren't happening...
I'd like to eventually buy the film, but I'd like to be able to enjoy the same version I did in the cinema.
So, is there a version out there?

Thanks zwoti, I'll look into it...'cos really, having seen it in it's intended form at the cinema, it really felt like something was missing from the one I hired.
If I'm gonna actually BUY it, I'll have to make sure the animated blood subs are available. A small thing, true...but it definately added to it all.

I can only talk about the Region 2 version, but with the two disc version, the kick-ass subtitles are on the second disc. The whole movie, with the dripping, flaming, flying subs is on there as an extra. Stupido!

It's pretty much the coolest thing about the whole damn movie, so to bury it like that is dumb as fuck. I asked Fox about it when they released it over here, and it apparently had something to do with not enough memory to include both the russian, english and cool subbed version on one disc, as it's not just a layer of text like normal subtitles, but fully embedded and integrated into the action.

so, anyway, the short answer is, yes - there is a version out there that shows the film the way it should be.
