Can't you just pick a random image and then stretch it wide in your photo editor, or what the program is called?

Yes, I know.
I have been looking at thousands of pages of them.
I wanted to know because I cannot find any avatars that fit the 2.4KB and the only userbars I find are those tiny thin ones- hence the question.
