Grand Funk Railroad

Any one recommend me a good album to start with? Heard good things about these cats but never slapped a record on....

I wouldn't call myself an expert on their stuff by any means, but I've got my dad's old vinyl copiers of "Closer to Home" and "Grand Funk", and both are pretty sweet albums. Been awhile since I gave either of 'em a spin though, I may have to do that...

damn...I grew up on these guys...one of my first concerts.

Pretty much anything before "All The Girls In The World Beware"..."On Time" & "Survival" being a couple of my favorites. "Caught in the Act" is a great live album.



if ya "digging the fuck" out of the 70s rock....try to get your hands on some Cactus....great fucking band right there.

Got the first album on now pretty cool so far. That version of Parchman Farm is killer fuckin' wild solos!

Quite cool how they share members with Vanilla Fudge.

Do you get into the band Blackfoot dude?

I certainly do. Molly Hatchet is another great 70s southern rock band.
