R.L. Stine

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum, and I was wondering if there are any R.L. Stine (best-known for his Goosebumps and Fear Street series) readers around here? :)

I read them a lot when I was younger I use to have a lot of them too, not all of them I tried to get them all and was always excited when a new one came out, but don't have as many as I use to, I never really got into the Fear Street series though.

R L Stine

Man, Ive still got some of the Goosebumps books. My favourite "Goosebump" stories were his "Night of the Living Dummy" series. I think it was R. L. Stine who got me into reading when I was a kid, actually.

I dont read them now but I keep them, who knows maybe my young uns will take a fancy to them.

I used to love Goosebumps as a kid, but looking back, the books suck. No offense to anyone who loves the books, but they're so not my type of book.

if your saying this then most likely you havent watched the tv shows, Im not saying that they arent good but the books are much creepier compared to the shows especially since the shows leave out or change a great detail or two!

I think the Goosebumps series is a great start for kids just getting into horror. I loved reading the books when I was kid. We used to collect them like Pokemon.

I used to really enjoy the Goosebumps books when I was a kid. I thought they were terrifying. I read a lot of them, but I definitely missed at least half of them.

About 5 or so years ago I bought a few of them to read on a plane, and boy were they terrible. I'm sure they are still great for kids, but it was like reading an elementary school book for me (which it basically is). I thought they might age better...I sure was wrong.

Still though, the books are a great little find for kids into scary stuff. I used to love them.
