Hi... I'll swallow your souls!!

Hey, I'm 35 years old, from Denmark, and horror movies have been my passion since I was a little girl. I'm a bit of a collector too. I thought I'd join here as I don't really have anyone to talk to who shares my interest.

As you can probably tell from my username, I am a HUGE fan of the "Evil Dead" movies, particularly the first one. But my taste in horror is pretty wide, and as long as it's good I'll watch anything from old silent movies to new releases. I'm mostly into paranormal horror, though. My favourite actors are Vincent Price, Robert Englund and Bruce Campbell.

I'm also a huge fan of HP Lovecraft.

I'll play any horror-themed video game I can get my hands on... although I don't think there's a lot of good ones. "The Call of Cthulhu" would probably have been my favourite game if it didn't have so many bugs that it's pretty much unplayable! Currently I'm really enjoying the Undead Nightmare expansion for "Red Dead Redemption" (which is an AWESOME game, btw.).

Well, that's enough about me, I guess... I hope to have some interesting conversations here

Welcome to the forum. Lovecraft fans are always welcome here. Since you're an Evil Dead fan, i'm curious as to what your thoughts are on the upcoming remake.

Hi, You finally found us. Keep your Lovecraft locked up. I left my car door unlocked for less than five minutes while I went into the garage and some vat of sewage swiped my Penguin edition of THE CALL OF CTHULHU.

At first I hated the idea, I wasn't even sure I wanted to see it. But the trailer has changed my mind :) At least I'm hopeful that it'll be worth watching, and I'm pretty excited to find out.

Wow, that sucks! I actually have a set of paperbacks that I've bought specifically for when I need to take them with me... the better collections stay at home.
