Looking For a Couple Movies....

Hello all. First post - yay :)

Maybe you guys would like to help me identify a couple movies....

The first movie a friend described to me so I don't have a wealth of detail. Its a typical plot where some aliens take over a ship and the good guys eventually defeat them and there is a seemingly happy ending. however in the final scene it is revealed that the happy ending was actually a dream and the crew are actually being eaten by the aliens on the ship while their bodies are being preserved, like a spider eats its prey. My friend described it as a "B movie" but he claims to have seen it on TV.

The second movie is one I saw myself as a child. I remember two distinct scenes. In the first scene, a man and a woman are inside in some dark, industrial looking area. The man carves a circle around the woman's face with a knife, then cuts off her head. Then she (just a head at this point) is on the floor and starts bobbing around and screaming after the guy. In the second scene, a woman is trapped in some sort of water filled metal chamber, treading water. She goes underwater under a divider and resurfaces into an identical chamber. She does this a few more times before she recgonizes that she is in a series of chambers arranged in a circle and cries in futility. This may have actually been a TV series, perhaps an X-files episode or something. It would have been on TV in the mid to late 90's.
