Help with name of obscure horror movie.

When I was little, in the 80s, I watched parts of a horror film I can very vaguely recall. I only remember one brief scene. A nun was sitting in a chair in what I think was a monastary, and there was this loud, deep demonic growl. The nun's skirt fluttered from the growl. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the film, other than what I saw, which was frightening, but no real details. Any ideas?
